The kitchen was fully stocked with all the pots, pans, dishes, and utensils needed to prepare meals. The bathroom was fantastic and complete with a large walk-in shower. The property location was PERFECT - right in the heart of the city close to ALL the major attractions. Our apartment overlooked a very lovely garden behind the building. Although we were in the city, it felt as though we were in the suburbs. I have saved the best for last. My wife and I travel the entire world on a full-time basis. Wherever we are at the time is our "home". Because of this, the quality of the apartment staff (or hotels on the rare occasion we are in a hotel) is paramount to us. We had one of the best experiences with the property manager at CCLA Luxembourg that we have had anywhere in the world. I am referring to Jerome who was the property manager during our time at CCLA. He was wonderful to communicate with prior to our arrival and during our stay. He was very kind, and wanted to ensure our apartment was comfortable and that we would enjoy our stay. He was an EXCELLENT representative of the CCLA Luxembourg and we enjoyed chatting with him each day during our stay at CCLA!

Attractively set in the Gare district of Luxembourg, The Residence Gare is set 35 km from Thionville train station, 49 km from Trier Central Station and 50 km from Trier Theatre. It is situated 300 metres from Luxembourg Train Station and offers private check-in and check-out. The aparthotel features city views, a terrace, and free WiFi is available throughout the property. We were welcomed by Tony & appreciated the greeting & information he gave us. The apartment was beautiful, had everything we needed & the bed was comfortable. (+ the building had an elevator) The train/tram/bus station was within 2 blocks, so we were easily able to travel through the city & explore the rural area. Great stay & great value.

The fact that is a bit out of the city (maybe 10 min by bus), but since all public transport is free it doesn't really matter. There are a couple of supermarkets closeby (you could walk, but taking a bus a few stops is better). The place is spacious and clean, and recently renovated.

The airport is nearby but the noise does not bother you. I would gladly visit this hotel again because it is very close to the center and at a reasonable price.
