A good location for a hassle-free holiday in Colombo, VAUX Park Street - A collection of 8 luxury lofts is an aparthotel surrounded by views of the city. The place was amazing (size, comfort, pool, location) however what made it was the people. From being welcomed at 5am and farewelled at 4am. And, all the tips (restaurants and place for a massage), help to get some groceries before we arrived and help to answer any questions. They even found me a lawyer 2 mins walk away to witness a document for me. Nothing was too hard.

The owner of the apartment, Prasanna and Pasindu, gave us the best accommodation on our Lanka trip. The family is as hospitable as anyone can be. They welcomed us with warm smiles and went out of the way to provide excellent service. We were contacted well in advance and given a superb apartment, which comprises all that we expected. It contains a spacious living room, kitchen with amenities, and washing machine. Bedroom was spacious. We felt like home away from home. WiFi was very strong and speedy. The location of Vivas Residencies makes it easy for transportation across different parts of Colombo. On request, they provided breakfast to the room, which was very good.  The hospitality we received was similar to a star-class hotel.  It's one place we would not hesitate to recommend to someone else.
