Resort al Belvedere Salina was a truly magical place and was definitely the highlight of our whole trip. We stayed for three nights in the villa and then for a last night in two apartments as the villa was already booked. Both were fantastic but the villa was really amazing. It was spacious, very tastefully designed and furnished with the most amazing terrace ever with a spectacular view. We did not want to leave our view, we stayed out at night looking at the stars and I got up early to lay on the sunbeds and listen to the sounds of nature and watch the sea as the sun rose. It is an extremely peaceful and tranquil place. What makes it truly special are the wonderful and caring staff. It is clear that they put their heart and soul into this place and genuinely care that it is impeccable and that guests are happy. From the welcome drink and personal introduction to the island to the amazing home made breakfasts served by lovely young waiters. The breakfasts consisted of only homemade produce with all local ingredients - we were greeted with a different home made fruit juice every morning, a different freshly made cake and a selection of home made jams with delicious and unusual flavours as well as home made yoghurts and fresh fruit. There is nothing bad to say about this place except that our stay was too short. We hope to come back some day and will always recommend it to anyone visiting Salina. This is such an incredible hotel! The rooms and facilities are beautiful and the staff are so friendly and helpful. They went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, were full of great tips about the island and responded quickly to every question. The breakfasts in the morning were so lovely and delicious. Highly recommend you stay here!
