Close to the center, shops, beach (only 50 steps away). We even had two bathrooms to use. There were turtles in the garden that our kids enjoyed looking at. Bartolo is the best ever host. Picked up, and dropped us off from/and to the ferry port early in the morning. He gave us the best recommendations, always was responsive. He offered us a tour around the island with the best viewpoints. Also helped us when our kid was sick. Such a kind person. Highly recommend this place!

Host Govanna was exceptional going beyond to care for her guests.She recommended nearby restaurants that were fantastic and affordable. We had transportation difficulties and she was very understanding! She set us up with a car rental through Giovanni at the Pitstop..and arranged an affordable shuttle from the ferryport. Wished we had more time at this wonderful accommodation, to further experience the fabulous nearby restaurants, beach across the street and our room with beautiful seaside views. Studios at the Lo Nardo include typical Aeolian furniture. They come with a fully equipped kitchenette, dining area with satellite TV and private bathroom. Some feature a balcony. We were greeted at our arrival at the port and guided to the hotel just a stone throw away. The building has a great roof terrace to share with other guests. Also we appreciated the ability to leave our luggage at the reception (a few blocs away) with th3e possibility to have a shower there too.

The location is just gorgeous, the view from the balcony was stunning, you can see the entire bay, it is very quite overnight and very close to a well organized beach - you can also enjoy a special discount on the beach services and food. The bus stop is very close to the beach and in a few minutes you get to the island centre (Lipari) where all the major restaurants, pubs and shops are. The house is wonderful, you have the stoves and all you need to cook your own food if you like.
