When we first arrived we thought we were a bit out of the way, however it was deceiving as we weire actually very close to the ancient town, yet far enough away to feel like we were in the country. We even fed a donkey and goats 100m away up the street. It was such a refreshing, relaxing and wonderful stay.

We were at that property in December and in Paola was pretty cold on the day when we arrived. There is an air conditioner that works for heating as well. However, we had an issue with that air conditioner that did not work correctly. When we told that to the landlord she called the technician that came the next day, but from her side, she bought us in less than an hour a new heater that we had used until that time. It was a pleasure to stay there. Definitely 10-star service
