The 1-bedroom aparthotel comes with a living room with a flat-screen TV, a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher and oven, and 1 bathroom with walk-in shower. Towels and bed linen are provided in the aparthotel. This aparthotel is non-smoking and soundproof. We were on 3rd floor. It was very quiet and nice. The property is in within a 15 minute walk from the center - close to local grocery stores, Krónan, Hagkaup and Bónus and the local "shopping mall" Glerártorg. Extremely helpful and resourceful host Einar, who for for example shipped a new TV remote by airplane within the day when the remote broke down. Very clean and newly furnished apartment, great for our family of 4, with kids aged 11 and 14. We did not try the hot tubs. We highly recommend this apartment.

Excellent location, comfortable apartment within walking distance of the pool the centre of town and the shops. Had everything we needed for a self-catering family trip.
We use this apartment hotel almost always we travel to Akureyri. The location is great. In the center of town and close to the great swimming pool. The rooms are spacious and guest beds are great for teenagers. Good to have a fridge as well.
Very comfortable, warm spacious beautifully furnished double ensuite rooms in a separate building from the main house. We had a small balcony with Ocean views which would have been lovely had the weather been better! Extremely friendly owners. We opted for the 3-course dinner in the evening and we were not disappointed. Fabulous food, and great way to mix with others when most of the other times we were self-catering. Good, cold buffet breakfast in the morning.
Lovely view from the dining room windows. The kitchen was very well-appointed, and we could have cooked a proper meal if we had wished. The host was very chatty and gave us lots of information about the area, and Iceland in general. Great breakfast with some local food on offer. We appreciated being able to organise an early breakfast which meant we could get to our whale watching trip in Husavik on time. There was a supermarket and bar/cafe within a two minute walk so self-catering was easy.

Tiny cabin with bunk beds for kids and sofa bed for two adults. Beautiful views of Hvammstangi cabins are just outside the village cosy one night stop for a family of four. Very clean. Basic kitchenette which was great as we were self catering.
The apartment was easy to find, spacious, clean and comfortable. Check in using the digital locks was really easy, I prefer this to keys or cards. The apartment was pretty well setup for self catering. It is very close to the downtown area. We got a parking place each time, but it was often the last place available. The nearest decent supermarkets are a bit of a drive away. The apartments communicate well about how things work.
