Giannis recommended a restaurant in the traditional mountain village of Lagada for lunch. Ate there one day, great food, idyllic location in the village, really nice lady. Giannis recommended two restaurants in southern Amorgos for lunch. Ate at one the day I explored southern Amorgos. Wonderful family run place where literally everything on the menu is homegrown. Giannis is a peach of a guy always ready to help.

Surrounded by a garden, the Cycladic-style Castelopetra is just 2 km from Katapola Port and 4 km from Amorgos Chora. It offers air-conditioned studios with free WiFi and panoramic Aegean Sea views. Our stay was excellent. The location is perfect, in a quite area but still very close to the main areas. Thank you Andrea for the hospitality.

The Cycladic-style Gryspo’s Hotel is located in the coastal Aegiali Village. Within 250 metres from the beach, the studios overlook the colourful garden or Aegean Sea from their balcony. Nice place at the entrance of the village. I did enjoy a very big room with a big balcony. There is a pleasant garden. From there you can walk in two minutes to the KTEL bus station, the ferries dock and the nice bars and shops below at sea level. By the way, Yannis the owner/manager is great.

Located 1 km away from the port and beach of Katapola, the newly built Amorgion Village is set on an elevated position and has a pool with sun terrace offering panoramic Aegean Sea views. The place was beautiful and the view was something else, but the manager Konstantinos was really whatade.the experience. He was amazing at his job and went out of his way to make sure our stay was as good as possible.

Aegean of Amorgos is a traditional complex that offers stylish accommodation with free Wi-Fi and a 3-minute walk to the centre of Katapola. It is just a 5-minute walk to the closest beach. New, clean, view, close to beach and restos.
