Located in Wooler, Arlington House Hotel - Self Check-In Suites is a recently renovated accommodation, 26 km from Bamburgh Castle and 27 km from The Maltings Theatre & Cinema. On arrival, we were upgraded to a larger room. The room was very modern and furnished to a high standard with a little kitchenette. The hotel is in the centre of Wooler, we found parking easily and were able to walk to local bars and restaurants.

Housed in a historic building, the recently renovated Apartments at The Black features accommodation with a garden and free WiFi. This aparthotel offers free private parking and a concierge service. We stayed here as only a 10min drive to Hadrians Wall and away from crowds. Lovely apartment, kitchen well equiped and rooms very comfortable. Felt safe as apartment location at the back in a courtyard. Small convenience store across the road for basics.
