The Quaysiders Club is located on the shore of Lake Windermere at Waterhead, which is a short walk from the village of Ambleside. Waterhead has several bars, restaurants and cafés. It was 1 of the cleanest and tidiest apartments I've ever stayed in. Everything was spotless

Grindal Studio Apartments - Newly Opened Luxury Accommodation, a property with a shared lounge, is situated in St Bees, 24 km from Muncaster Castle, 35 km from Buttermere, as well as 41 km from... What a gem this place is! I stayed in a quality, clean and spacious studio apartment, with a built in kitchenette, lounge area and comfy double bed. The lounge area had a large TV, with all sorts of built-in apps (iplayer, Prime, Netflix, etc), whilst the kitchen came with a microwave, oven, fridge, kettle, toaster, dishwasher (dishwasher tablets and washing up liquid were provided) and all the usual cutlery, crockery and glassware. There was also complimentary bread, butter and milk, along with tea, coffee and sugar. The ensuite bathroom was fresh and modern and came with a large shower cubicle. There was no bath. Towels, toilet roll and body wash / shampoo and soap were provided. There are no on-site staff at this accommodation and guests can come and go as they please. Each room has it's own keycard and the site has great wifi connectivity. There is also free on-site parking and a communal lounge, with TV. There is a lift, although it was not operational during my visit (the building is not yet complete, although it won't be long and this was not an issue at all). As well as being a fantastic apartment, it was also great value and in a great location. Accessing other parts of the Lake District is straightforward by car and Wasdale Head is only 45 minutes drive away (This is 1 of the locations from which to climb Scafell Pike).

Located in Ulverston in the Cumbria region, The Patrons Inn features a patio. The 4-star aparthotel is 48 km from Muncaster Castle. Beautifully appointed house in a quiet part of Ulverston. Very close to the shops and for countryside walks. The house was spotlessly clean and really comfortable. Diana, the host, was very helpful and welcoming.

Located in Windermere, Kotel Windermere provides a garden and free WiFi. Good and nice place. Very comfortable. Parking is good.

The modern Waterview Deluxe Apartments are set on Barrow-on-Furness’ waterfront, less than a mile from the Dock Museum and town centre. Apartment was spacious and modern. Staff were lovely and very helpful. Close to shops and other amenities.

Jeffersons Hotel & Serviced Apartments is located in the centre of Barrow-In-Furness, just 5 minutes’ walk from the train station. very friendly staff and clean room
