Boasting sea views, Halvard Apartments at Castletown features accommodation with patio, around 50 metres from Castle Rushen. There is a private entrance at the aparthotel for the convenience of those who stay. The aparthotel offers quiet street views, a picnic area, a 24-hour front desk, and free WiFi is available throughout the property. The accommodation was exactly as described, bigger than I'd imagined and in a beautiful setting. It was wonderfully clean and high quality with everything we could have needed including the small important things we always forget in self-catering - washing up liquid, tea towels, kitchen roll, dishwasher tablets etc. Asma and Lisa could not have been more helpful or accommodating. A perfect stay, thank you so much.

At the aparthotel, each unit is fitted with a desk, a flat-screen TV, a private bathroom, bed linen and towels. All units include a kettle, while some rooms are fitted with a fully equipped kitchenette with a microwave, a toaster and kitchenware. The units are equipped with heating facilities. Beautiful establishment on the promenade with fantastic views and excellent facilities.

Self catering
Nice, clean, and modern self-catering accommodation. Good room sizes and fully equipped kitchen. I really liked the bathroom and walk-in shower. The large TV was a bonus, too.

Got an upgrade on the reservation, which was greatly appreciated. Plenty of space and very well equiped for self catering with stores easily available. Bathroom facilities excellent. Coffee/tea/snacks supplied . Excellently hosted by William.

Self catering - and the breakfast was very good!
I liked it being self-catering for our accommodation, but there was a bar and restaurant downstairs so we could have breakfast or an evening meal if we felt like it. Parking right outside was excellent too. The staff were friendly and helpful.
Excellent location for the promenade & the ferry terminal. Clean & spacious. Everything you need for self catering & very comfortable.
A new hostel with self-catering and self-check-in. The place is well organised. The host sent all the necessary check-in info well in advance before our arrival despite it being probably the busiest time of the year (TT). Located close to the Promenade, not far from the downtown. You can easily get to most of the island from the nearby bus stops.
From seeing the delightful harbour location, and the friendly welcome at reception, the overall experience was a perfect self-catering base for a lovely holiday on the Isle of Man. The apartment was spacious, clean, and well equipped. Our expectations were well exceeded; and will be recommending waterfront apartments to my friends.
