We had a fantastic stay at the Aparthotel Adagio. Beautiful spacious apartment with everything you needed. Staff were so friendly and helpful. It is so well placed to conveniently explore the old part of the city. We walked everywhere we needed to go. Highly recommend.
A very kind and warm welcome from the host that showed us around the wonderful property - thank you Stephanie :) Small accommodation fitted and equipped to a very high standard - chic. Kitchen had everything you might need for self-catering for a week. Some restaurants nearby. Safe place to leave the bicycles locked overnight.
Excellent location. Met on site by proprietor. We were able to check in earlier by arrangement which was great. Central to shopping area, numerous eateries. Tram easy to use. Bought 72 hour ticket for €12 and went everywhere on it. Several supermarkets nearby to purchase what you need for self catering. Apartment was very clean and spacious. Comfortable beds. Plenty of hot water for showers.
Self catering kitchen--just bring your own food. Bed is large and comfortable. French doors opening directly onto deck which leads directly to garden. Quiet and peaceful relaxing place to stay. Very friendly hosts. Dog friendly. Park the car right outside the room by the deck.
This is a well located Apart Hotel just off the village centre. Unfortunately we were not informed that the restaurant belonging to the apartments was not going to be open and the only other bar in the village has a jazz band playing and was fully booked for the whole evening. We manged to get to a small supermarket just before they closed and obtained some convenience food which we were able to cook in the apartment.
The reception staff were helpful and charming. The room was large and had good facilities and a fantastic view over the sea. We were not expecting self catering facilities but were delighted to be able to use them to make snacks. We were allowed to park our car in the hotel car park which was convenient and provided some safety.
A lovely charming cottage, in a truly idyllic location (nb: a car is needed). Plenty of space, nice area to eat outside. Quiet, calm, comfortable. Hostess Michele (who by the way speaks excellent English) was wonderful -- responded quickly and positively to all issues (e.g. when microwave stopped working, she arrived with a new one within about ten minutes!). This must be one of the best self-catering places I've ever stayed in, and I'd love to go back.
Spectacular apartment, I'm not exaggerating when I say that this is the best self catering apartment we have ever stayed in, photos don't do it justice. Excellent communication from owner, a lovely surprise were the toys left out for our toddler to play with - it made his trip!
The flat is spacious, clean and airy. The kitchen had everything we needed for a week's self catering, and being able to sit at a table for meals was ideal. The main bed and sofa bed were very comfortable and the quiet location meant we had peaceful nights. The flat is opposite the supermarket and post office, with a boulangerie a few minutes walk away. It was a pleasant walk into Pau, so although we hired a car, we did not need it to enjoy the town. There was always free parking available on the street outside the flat.
