This is the first time I review an accommodation that I did not stay at but there is a good reason for it. 3 days before our scheduled stay, the hotel called us to inform us there was a problem with the apartment we booked and that they could not host us. They proactively offered to transfer us to another hotel (which we assume is a partner property or maybe even of the same owner), several kilometres away. To sweeten the deal, the transfer proposal included half board, which we didn't have in our original booking. Since we were not really picky about the location as long as it was on the eastern coast of Mallorca, we agreed to the deal. Our stay was outstanding. I will not say more since my review should technically be about a property we actually stayed at, but I want to commend this property for their management of the situation and doing the right thing. You made a customer very happy.

It is so nice to stay just outside of the city. You can also rent a car from the property and they set you up with everything. The concierge will cater to your needs. You can also do laundry on the premise. The roof top and pool are private and intimate and beautiful.

I had rented the SeaSunSand apartment on the first floor and facing the beach for me and my two grandchildren (9 &14). We stayed there seven days. It was perfect—the bed and sofa-bed were very comfortable, the kitchen very well equipped, the bathroom very modern, the walk-in closet (with a safe) great. The room was big enough for three people, and was immaculately clean. The terrace was huge and wonderful—we had tapas or dinner there every night, facing the sea and the beautiful view of the bay. The excellent restaurant on the ground floor was a huge plus—their food is great, and we were able to buy tapas and drinks to enjoy on our terrace. A good grocery store was a five-minute walk away, and downtown Palma a 10mn taxi ride away. Finally, the hotel manager, Hamid, was very helpful getting us taxis and answering all our questions. He also went way beyond his duty to mail me a very important document sent to me that did not arrive before we left. I appreciate immensely what he did for me. I highly recommend the Hype Beach Hotel!
