Featuring a garden, bar and views of pool, Paraíso Bayahibe is located in Bayahibe, 400 metres from Bayahibe Beach. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. The receptionist Kiara was very friendly, she spoke excellent English and made us feel very welcome during our stay. The pool area was lovely not loads of sun loungers but it wasn’t a problem. The rooms were very basic but had everything we needed even a water fountain which we thought was amazing! The room was big but did smell a little fusty but once we opened the window and put the A/C on it went away. If you want your room cleaning you just ask at reception this wasn’t a problem at all for us. You get a bath towel and a beach towel. It was on the main road into Bayahibe so the location was great. A little pizza place and shop 2 mins away and the Main Street which you could walk down and be at the beach/harbour in 5/10 mins. As 2 girls travelling we felt safe and I would definitely stay here again it was a great start to our holiday.

17 km from Queen Emma Bridge, Thuishaven Boutique Mini-resort is a recently renovated property located in Willemstad and provides air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. What a great place to enjoy Curaçao. It's 10 minutes by car from the city centre (Punda and Otrobanda) on a quiet, secure and beautiful location. The hosts were very welcoming, the place is incredible, with access to the pool at all times. The room is very well thought out, with a lot of details and very modern. Camille and Vanessa were also incredible and did everything they could to help me and other guests. The cats are very cute and love being petted and the sunsets are amazing. There's a great market on the way to the beaches called New California (about 10 minutes heading northwest). A good gas station is ISA Service Station (7 mins southeast) where you can pay with a credit card either in Florins or US dollars. De Visserij is a great place nearby to eat local and fresh seafood. My favorite beaches (considering I was traveling alone and I like the mix of adventure, comfort and wildlife, are): 1. Kalki, 2. Porto Marie, 3. Cas Abao, 4. Avila Beach (great for a day at a hotel being able to go out on open sea at the same time) and 5. Kenepa Grandi.

Amazing place , very close to the beach! Perfect Apartament, equipped with everything that u need! Nice pool and grate Friday evenings around with the best host ever -Ravi ! FIXIE LOFTS Slow Life Villa offers accommodation within 4.7 km of the centre of Santo Domingo, with free WiFi, and a kitchen with a microwave, a fridge and a stovetop. For independent travellers it hardly gets any better than this. Recommended!

Situated in Noord, The Palm Leaf Apartments features accommodation with private pool, free WiFi and free private parking for guests who drive. The pool was a lovely fixture, allowing us to cool off whenever we needed to. The induction stovetop was great for cooking our own meals. Smart TV let us watch Netflix whenever we felt like we just wanted to relax. Great internet service. Everything in the unit felt of high quality, especially the doors & locks.

Set within 200 metres of Castara Beach and 600 metres of Little Bay Beach, Castara Inn offers rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Castara. I honestly cannot rate Castara Inn highly enough! I feel like this place is a real hidden gem. Rhonda could not have been nicer and made everything so easy and painless. Rhonda organised a lovely surprise birthday message on the bed with dried petals for my 40th and also upgraded our room to a Sea View option as it was vacant. And my what a view that was! Absolutely stunning. The outdoor space and facilities that came with the room were super impressive. Loved the apartment itself - very comfortable bed and what a bathroom! There is also a lovely path/ hike down to a secret little deserted beach from directly outside the property. This was a lovely start to our day one morning. If I was back in Castara, I would 100% stay in Castara Inn again as my first choice. I get that it is a bit further of a walk up a very steep hill! But we rented a car (through Taylor's rental) while in Castara, and this made getting around A LOT easier. I would go with the car and Castara Inn option over staying down the road in other more expensive places just down the hill.

Situated in Deshaies and only 200 metres from Petite Anse Beach, Bikamado features accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. Very clean facilities, a little hard to find but worth it and the owner who lives nearby was very friendly and helpfull

The bedrooms and the overall unit space is very comfortable and perfect for families. The pools and beach are great as well!
