The room was more than we expected, more like an apartment with kitchen and also a washer and dryer. It was spacious and very comfortable. The staff went out of their way to help us. Also an underground garage!

First of all, I would like to point out that the host is extremely helpful and extremely polite! The accommodation is calm and quiet, it is easily accessible, it is close to the center, it can be reached on foot within 5-10 minutes. Switzerland is close, the neighboring settlement is already there, you can even take the train from here. The view?!?! ..... well, you have to see it! Thanks for everything Giancarlo!

The Garni Villa Siesta Park is a hotel in Losone, a 15-minute walk from Ascona. It features a huge flower garden and a barbecue area. Breakfast was great, in particular local cheese, which I like but a lot was available, boiled eggs, bread and toppings, yogurt, cereals, coffee and much more. More me the location was perfect, because I needed to go to Monte Verità on a daily basis but I did not come by car. It is a much more difficult trip from the Ascona side up the hill. The staff were very polite and helpful, probably more so than in any other place I have been to. I even received a few locally made chocolate bars as a gift upon leaving. Because it is a rather small place and the staff is apparently multiple friends that run the business together, the staff-to-customer rate was extremely high. Because I was there for work, I really didn't have time to do things such as swim in the swimming pool, but the garden and pool area looked really nice.

Featuring mountain views, Casa Vino e Birra Boutique Guesthouse provides accommodation with patio, around 37 km from Piazza Grande Locarno. A lovely oasis! The room was airy and clean. The host was friendly. The property was quiet and relaxing. And the location was perfect for canyoning.

Conveniently located, excellent amenities and very welcoming host. Added advantage was that they provided ticino ticket.
