My wife wasn't feeling 100% - so this was such a comfortable place for her to get some sleep and recover. Well set up with kitchen, lounge, roof top terrace etc. Enjoyed walking into town and back (about 30 mins each way) and exploring the immediate area and the valley - especially the hummingbirds and burrowing owls. Friendly staff - especially with our limited Spanish.

Tucked away in Tafi Valley, on El Pelao Hill, this family-run mountain lodge features rustic-style accommodation with private balconies overlooking the valley, and free Wi-Fi. Private parking is free.... The owner cancelled my booking.

Boasting a large garden with a swimming pool, Descanso de las piedras offers ecological bungalows 700 metres from the Jesuitic Museum, just opposite the Lavanda River. It is one of the best resorts to stay, a super nice bungalow, a warm pool, jacuzzi, and an eccellent restaurant bref hilly recommended. Thanks for the staff and the owner. Regards Doug

The owner was a really friendly man. We didnt speak the same language but I could tell that he really cared and loved what he was doing. He was accomidating to the best of his ability. He personally showed me how everything works. It was my first time staying at a hotel in Argentina and it was a very good start.
