The place far exceeded our expectations for our weekend ski trip. There was plenty of room for me and my two adult children to have our own space, and a full kitchen to cook all weekend. It was just a short drive to Beech Mountain, close enough for us to drive back for lunch each day and return to the slopes right after.

The spacious, fully equipped apartment unit 101-B offers two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a two-story townhouse layout with two balconies. The interior stayed wonderfully warm despite the 15°F temperatures and gusty winds outside. The apartment boasts a stunning view of Beech Mountain, adding to its charm.
The free shuttle service to the slopes was incredibly convenient, eliminating the need to use a car. Rides were readily available, including on-demand service via phone.
On top of the world at Sugar Top Resort provides a sauna and free private parking, and is within 3.1 miles of Sugar Mountain and 10 miles of Grandfather Mountain.
