Ideal for travellers who want their own space and don’t need frills. Aparthotels/serviced apartments have some hotel facilities like a reception desk but are self-catered with a place to cook (e.g. a kitchenette). This suite-style accommodation usually has more than 10 units per property.
A rustic character to this hotel with some facilities for self catering. Within a block and a half of good bus service between the airport and downtown.
Don’t be tricked like I was— this isn’t an actual hotel. It’s a collection of Airbnb’s marketed as a a hotel. I was able to cancel my reservation, but it took me half a day and tons of stress. I’m sure it’s fine if you’re interested in privacy, but if you want hotel-like anmenities such as staff on site to answer questions about the area, common spaces to hang out in, etc., you’ll want to look elsewhere.
The room was supposed for self catering. We didn't even have mugs or glass for drinks, no plates, no pots/pans, no cooking/eating utensils, nothing.
We had a power outage for hours without any explanations from the management people.
