Nice studio apartment - clean and new with a nice balcony. The location was right in Navy Yard which is a great place to stay. If check-in hadn't been so painful, I would give this a very high rating

I like that this is a mixed use property that is home to many and provides lovely guest quarters for visitors. The full-time residents as well as the desk staff (kudos to Ms. Nicki) were kind and helpful. The Howard U neighborhood is home to a cross-section of the DC community, to include university students, working families, the elderly, and people living a more uncertain, transient life. It is a busy, active, and noisy neighborhood. It is why I enjoy visiting the “real” part of a city, rather than the insulated, isolated swath of resort style properties.

Placemakr is EXACTLY right for our needs! We stay in DC every Monday night and want to full studio with a refrigerator, cooking facilities, and coffee maker. The bed is really comfortable and the room is clean, the shower has great water pressure, and the location is exceptional. We couldn't be happier staying there!
