They even allowed us and helped us to cook food in their kitchen as we were fed up with outside food for last 5 days. The view from the hotel is great. Ideal for travellers who want their own space and don’t need frills. Aparthotels/serviced apartments have some hotel facilities like a reception desk but are self-catered with a place to cook (e.g. a kitchenette). This suite-style accommodation usually has more than 10 units per property.
This was an absolute gem and felt like a friendly home to return to after each amazing Cappadocia excursion. The house simply had every single thing we needed for a self-catering stay. With 42°C temperatures, the cool house was a welcome retreat. They neighbourhood felt like normal people just going about their lives, but you are just around the corner from the town centre - with a view of the Ortahisar castle from the enclosed balcony. We wouldn't have wanted to experience this lovely area any other way.
Cosy hotel, close to Urgup town centre. Rooms were large and warm enough with working TV and cave hotel-like features, and extra bed provided for son. Slippers provided too. Bathroom was large with jacuzzi, which worked well - my son lived it. Breakfast spread was good, with fries, etc, cooked fresh, and provided in room with a view. Staff were friendly and organised a taxi at short notice for us - turned out to be a "luxury" vehicle with a price to match. Located in quiet area, five mins walk from town centre.
Was on a family trip with wife and 2 kids. Very personal/exclusive feel to the whole place.
The owner Sammy was exceptionally friendly and he along with his brother were able to help us personalise entire trip with local contacts and tips.
Breakfast was as localised and traditional as it gets with a home-like quality cooked fresh in the kitchen in front of us.
