- First of all, this unit is a privately owned unit and have nothing to do with the hotel itself. The reviews on the hotel as a whole do not do John justice, as his room was extremely nice as compared to the rest. (based on pictures)
- The unit is renovated and is furnished with modern furnitures.
- John also turned on the a/c while waiting for us to check in to his unit, so we were greeted by both the warmth of his presence and the comfort of the cool air which was a great comfort after our long hours of traveling.
- We got the unit at a higher floor, so the sea view from both the balconies of the bedroom and the living area was amazing!

The hotel location was central of George town main streets and excellent. As soon as we arrived at the hotel, the staff gave us a very detailed introduction to sightseeing in Penang. In addition to that, they prepared a packed lunch box for breakfast since they knew that we would depart early in the morning the next day as well as they sent our parcel at the post office, which was not originally included in hotel service. They also handled the early morning airport drop off for us.
The room is big and comfy just like what has shown in the picture. Basically provided everything you need to stay. Highly recommended if you do not need hotel services.
Judging by the price I thought I would get a room in a basic serviced apartment, but the place turned out to be better than I expected. It's a small arty hotel with a nice design. They sent the instructions for self-check-in to me, and it was fine. I checked in after 9 p.m. and found myself in a cozy room with some vintage charm. The area was peaceful and quiet, though there were a lot of restaurants and fast food stalls in the vicinity, just 5 minutes away. The main city attractions were also within walking distance.
I like this property for 3 reasons; firstly it is located within walking distance to 2 big shopping malls as well as many restaurants. It is also not too far from Georgetown, Penang. Secondly, it is very spacious and clean. Lastly, it is a small serviced apartment with about 20 units. Coming and going are hassle-free and the staff are very attentive.

The service apartment was nice, clean and comfortable. The beds were really comfy to sleep. The swimming was nice with a good view. Only the car park is at higher place.
