We had a fantastic time at Sri Lanka Villa. Our apartment was spacious and had everything we needed. The area is quiet and safe. It is possible to walk to the beach in 5 minutes.
The owner Upul was also there for two days and gave us a very warm welcome. Also the caretaker Vijith is a super nice and helpful person. We'll happily visit again!

Excellently maintained. Taken care of each and every minute detail in rooms. Interior design was very unique and comfortable. Variety of food choices were available. Food was tasty as well. Prices were resonable. It was close by to all the main attractions in Unawatuna and few minutes distance to mathara- colombo main road
Ideal for travellers who want their own space and don’t need frills. Aparthotels/serviced apartments have some hotel facilities like a reception desk but are self-catered with a place to cook (e.g. a kitchenette). This suite-style accommodation usually has more than 10 units per property.
Really pleasant building with separate self catering apartments. Felt private but also had communal spaces and easy to meet people.
It’s in an ideal location within walking distance to the beach but off the main road.
Tharu is a lovely host who took the time to make sure all was ok and help out with some questions I had.
