Room was huge and although there were only four of us, there were beds for 7 in the room! Two beds on the floor of the unit (great for people who can’t climb a ladder to a loft) and 5 futon beds over two separate loft bedrooms. My kids LOVED the lofts! Spotlessly clean, great kitchen space, large fridge. And the cafe had the best coffee we’ve ever had in Japan and we have tried a lot of places! This was a great base to visit nearby attractions such as enoshima and Kamakura and a short train to Hakone too.

Comfortable, minimalistic accommodation in a relatively convenient location. Just a few mins walk from local subway line which links straight to Shibuya Station. Loved the fridge/freezer, shower and bathroom were great. Bidet function on the toilet didn't work properly though, just created puddles on the floor.
Ideal for travellers who want their own space and don’t need frills. Aparthotels/serviced apartments have some hotel facilities like a reception desk but are self-catered with a place to cook (e.g. a kitchenette). This suite-style accommodation usually has more than 10 units per property.
Location was great. The metro station exit was right next to the hotel, which was especially useful on rainy days where we can access the metro without getting wet.
As a serviced apartment, it met our family's needs. We enjoyed the kitchenette and the washing machine.

Love the hotel service, location and the big room I requested. However the bathroom smells unclean and around toilet dirty and smells since they don’t clean room every day I have to clean the bathroom before using it. Other than that, reception staff all are superb very helpful and excellent amenities. Great location to supermarket and great restaurants.
You can take bus to Narita/ Haneda from near bye hotel.
This apartment hotel is located more fun and spacious part of Yokohama than near Yokohama station where are nothing but shops and offices. Oakwood is right next to Bashamichi subway station. The building has a parking on the basement, and freeway is 3 mins away. A nice supermarket is right next to the building and opens long hours. The view of the bay from the suite is spectacular. It’s a nice feeling it has a balcony though you are not supposed to sit there.
The location, the view over Yokohama and the cleanliness. The apartment building offers more privacy than I thought. The location is great - a metro station right next to the ground floor entrance and just a few hundred meter to a JR station. Also walkable to many sightseeing spots. I also appreciate that there is a gym and a lounge for residents. The parking access was easy and straight forward even we did not speak Japanese. The experience of staying in an Aparthotel is more interesting than in a hotel - this is our personal opinion.
A well located, modern apartment hotel featuring great views and amenities! If I was to travel to Yokohama again, would certainly consider staying there again!
The Oakwood Suites Yokohama has excellent serviced apartments. The rooms are all on floors 47-51, with excellent views in every direction. Open balconies allow fresh air. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom moder and clean. Built-in dishwasher and washing machine / tumble dryer combo make travelling light and washing on demand very easy. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I will go back any day.
