Ideal for travellers who want their own space and don’t need frills. Aparthotels/serviced apartments have some hotel facilities like a reception desk but are self-catered with a place to cook (e.g. a kitchenette). This suite-style accommodation usually has more than 10 units per property.
The room provided ready-to-use kitchenwares and a washing machine with the drying function was impressive. We were able to buy fresh veges and soup ingredients from a supermarket around the area to cook by ourselves. The aparthotel was about 10-15min walking distance from the popular beach. A short uphill walking was required to reach the aparthotel.
Really spacious and clean. Oceanview. Free pickup and dropoff. Very helpful owner (offered call restaurant for us to make reservation). Bedding had really high quality and felt hotel-like.
