Excellent value!! The apartment comes with all the necessary amenities to enjoy Kyoto and get away from the hustle and bustle of city life. It is a 3 min walk from the train station which is a must in Japan. Also, the service was excellent and we really enjoyed the koi pond.

I liked the interior design of the apartment, the space, the amenities. The view from the terrace was spectacular, we were watching the river and the beautiful birds, sunrise was very pretty as well. The location was great - very close to restaurants and convenience stores. Very quiet, so could catch on the sleep.

Takase was a wonderful host and was very welcoming. He provided an entire walk-through of the apartment, answered all our questions and thoughtfully booked our return taxi for us. The apartment itself was very clean, quiet, with lots of natural light and very centrally located in the Gion district - famous sites and great restaurants all within walking distance. Our first trip to Kyoto and Japan - we will definitely be back!

This was a perfect place for our family of five, plenty of room, very well laid out and comfy. It is sort of a residence hotel, all electronic check in and out. Super nice location, near everything, a block from train station. Very modern and very clean! We even had a fifth floor city view, tons of light.
