Ideal for travelers who want their own space and don’t need frills. Condo hotels/serviced apartments have some hotel facilities like a reception desk but include kitchen facilities for a place to cook (e.g. a kitchenette). These suite-style accommodations usually have more than 10 units per property.
This was one of my favourite places to stay! The room felt like my own traditional studio and I felt at home right away! Definitely for the people who choose feeling at home in a stay over “hotel-like” luxury, in the best way possible. Hakone Yumoto is beautiful (I recommend staying there, instead of in the more touristy area’s like Moto Hakone. The bathing area was simple but nice and the reservation for it was easy and shared with only 2 other guests.
Traditional Japanese dishes are really exquisite and delicious. Also, the hotel service is hospitable. We stayed two days enjoying their Onsen and relaxing environment.
Located just a brief 6-minute stroll from Hakone Yumoto station, the guest villa offers both convenience and tranquility. The spacious and impeccably clean accommodations are complemented by modern amenities such as WiFi and a well-equipped kitchen complete with cooking appliances. The inclusion of a dining area adds to the comfort and functionality of the villa, making it an ideal choice for those seeking a peaceful retreat with the convenience of home-like comforts.
The hotel service and its staff provides a professional and very courtesies service. The twin suite room was spacious and large. The in room private hot spring also amazing. Western breakfast was ok. Mr. Kaito from F&B was very helpful and extremely nice during breakfast. Shuttle bus from and to Odawara station provides by the hotel also ver convenience. Overall this hotel provides a luxury and best hospitality services.
Excellent host, very comfy doona, so close to Lake Ashi and bus station/pirate boat. Dinner (not free) prepared by the host was yummy and home-like, memorable experience.
It was clean, good amenities with kitchen and large bathroom and desk and TV. it was basically a serviced apartment in a great location.
