Very comfortable apartment. Niccolo was a very gracious host and provided excellent recommendations. It was to cool to use the pool but it looked very clean with lots of lounge chairs.

We loved everything about our experience at Giada’s family owned property. The grounds were beautiful and meticulously cared for. This, along with tolling bells in the background as we sipped our wine poolside, added so much pleasure to our stay. Giada was very friendly and helped us arrange a taxi for our travel back to Florence after our stay. We loved the little village of San Donato in Poggio and wished we had time to eat in the restaurant (decorated w Michelin recognition) which was closed on Mondays- the first day we arrived. But we visited the “Bar” for a glass of wine and again for cappuccinos on several occasions. The Coop (grocery store) just down the hill was a great surprise with wonderful prices and options. Our time at this location was occupied by wedding festivities but we would most definitely love to return someday, stay here and dedicate more time to these quintessential Tuscan surroundings.

The apartment was clean and comfortable with all the amenities needed for self catering. The pool is shared but there was enough space for everyone.
You can walk into town which has a supermarket and few restaurants but would definitely recommend having a car to make the most out of seeing the area and getting to other towns and Florence!
