Amazing peaceful private property and views. Exactly as in photos. Great for our family needs (we were at two adjacent apartments on the ground floor with direct access to the terrace and pool). Well equipped. Alizee was the most helpful property manager and helped us with local recommendations, a minor emergency and much more. Wil go back if we can.
The beds were good but might be too soft if you're used to a harder mattress. Good hot water and pressure in shower. Excellent washing machine (no dryer) and dishwasher. Wi-fi in the basement level spotty but great elsewhere in apartment.
Onno is a cute village with a few cafes and casual restaurants. the coffee shops open very early and have some provisions. The nearest grocery is one village over - 7 minutes drive from the apartment. 15 minutes or so to Bellagio. 40 minutes or so to Como.
Palazzo Mazzini is a recently renovated condo hotel in the center of Como, a 8-minute walk from Como San Giovanni Train Station and half a mile from Volta Temple.

This place far exceeded any expectations we had for our stay. That fact that we could use the spa at the luxury hotel next door was a huge and very fun bonus. The grounds were lovely and the service was wonderful. It was always peaceful on the grounds, which was a nice respite from the crowds in town that could get a little overwhelming, but once we were on hotel property, it was like a world of our own. We loved it.

We loved everything about staying at this property. It was located just next to a little bar and a grocery shop - perfect for self catering. The bed was big and comfortable, the place was very clean and beautifully rustic. It felt like a really authentic stay. We LOVED going to the private garden and swimming in Lake Como from the private beach which was located 20 mins walk away from the place. Nesso is a lovely place to stay. Cinzia was a wonderful host and really helpful.
