This was such a pleasant stay. I cannot find anything negative to say about this place.
The building seems new and everything in the room looked new and super clean. And they have AC! The host has the rooms set up with everything you need to feel comfortable. The bathroom is a great size. The kitchen is fully equipped if you want to cook and all the appliances, pots and pans, plates and silverware look new. The host had milk, juice and bottle water in the fridge for us. In addition to beer and coke; all included.
Host had different packaged Italian breakfast breads with jams, butter and Nutella. The room also had an espresso machine with a variety of capsules for us to choose in addition to teas with honey and sugar.
The host went way out of his way to make our sty enjoyable. He even gave us a ride to downtown! The parking is very spacious, even for SUVs and it’s gated. The location is great because it’s less than a 10 minute drive to downtown Matera. If we go
Back to Matera we would not stay anywhere else!

Very nice place, well located walking distance to visit Matera. The host is very nice, the building and room are very nice. Good shower, good beds. Good value for money. You can park for free in the street where the hotel is.

Sensational accommodation in a fabulous location. Many people stopped to look inside and were always impressed by the place. Great host who went over and above what was expected.
Breakfast was more than adequate and well supplied.

Ideal for travellers who want their own space and don’t need frills. Aparthotels/serviced apartments have some hotel facilities like a reception desk but are self-catered with a place to cook (e.g. a kitchenette). This suite-style accommodation usually has more than 10 units per property.
The accommodation was exceptional. The best self catering experience we have ever had. Giuseppe, the host was incredibly kind and helpful, if we could give a higher score than 10/10 or exceptional we would.
We had a lovely stay very unique. Location was perfect for us. The host was very helpful and even left us lactose free snacks which was very thoughtful. The beds were all comfortable for us and facilities all equipped for self catering if required.
This is a really special place to stay. Yes it does not have all mod cons, but that is the point. If you are looking for a 5 star hotel service, go somewhere else. If you are looking for a great experience and night in one of the old Matera caves, look no further. Great location in fascinating Matera. Breakfast was a magnificent spread. Would heartily recommend this hotel.
