The owners are extremely friendly and will go out of their way to provide as much or little information that you may want for things to do in the area and how to access those things. Awe-inspiring. After some research, it seemed like this area is not bad to explore the eastern Dolomites. But I wasn't expecting the village to be this beautiful. The drive from the village to the main road is probably the best sight I have ever seen. The rooms were big, with great views (make sure to specify to request the front side to get a better valley view). Parking can be a little tight.
A good location for a hassle-free getaway in Bressanone, Residence Traube is a condo hotel surrounded by views of the mountain.

Spacious , well equipped apartment in an old, charming cloister. The apartments are run by the hotel across the street. Friendly front desk and daily housekeeping staff. Quiet location, however it’s conveniently right next to old town. About a 10 minute walk to the train station. Two minute walk to the bus stop that takes you up to Plose. The included Brixen Card for free public transportation, museums and cable cars (including Plose gondola)throughout all of Südtirol was a big plus! Breakfast buffet (with fantastic coffee) at the hotel was optional for a very reasonable €12 per morning. Complementary tea, coffee, cakes and cookies every afternoon in the lovely hotel garden with a small cocktail and snack menu as well. The hotel also owns a very nice restaurant in town where you receive a 10% discount. No extra cleaning fee. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.
