The location was good if you have a car - just outside of Lucca. very quiet, rural spot. Perfect for getting to Florence and the coast by car or train from Lucca. There is a bus stop at the end of the drive with fairly frequent buses into Lucca. There is also a lovely bar/cafe at the end of the drive, La Perla.
The apartment was clean, nice towels, no air con.
The apartment had lovely big bedrooms and bathrooms. We didn’t use the pool or outside areas as the weather wasn’t brilliant.

Beautiful property, great pool, you have your own sun loungers designated to you. the Morgana maisonette was a fab size for a family if 4. the owners were lovely.
Ideal for travellers who want their own space and don’t need frills. Aparthotels/serviced apartments have some hotel facilities like a reception desk but are self-catered with a place to cook (e.g. a kitchenette). This suite-style accommodation usually has more than 10 units per property.
It was great to have the pool to cool off after a day out. We were staying in one if the apartments so we were self catering, there was a fridge freezer and hob but no other cooking facilities unless you used the barbecue outside (I think there was an extra charge for it). There was plenty of storage space in the bedrooms. We parked on the road outside, it was a safe area. Supermarket and other shops close by. Air conditioning was good 👍
We liked the size of the apartment and the appointments. The kitchen was good, and allowed for self catering We used Alexa for back ground music. It was an extremely well appointed place to stay, though there were a few things that could be improved.
The facitlities on offer for both adults and children are exceptional. The gardens are large enough for fun games for kids and also relaxtion in and out of the sun for adults. The house was spotlessly clean and well equipped for both self catering and eating out in Lucca. A large Carrefour dsupermarekt is a short drive away.
Excellent location in a beautiful building. Huge amount of space, made us feel as though we were home. Kitchen very well equipped for self catering. Plenty of utensils and pots/pans.
Wonderfully central, clean and fully equipped self-catering apartment with adjoining bedroom. The apartment was equipped with everything you need to have a combination of eating out & self catering holiday. The mini supermarket nearby meant we could cook and enjoy a family meal around the comfortable dining table. The terrace, breakfast and spacious rooms make this excellent value.
