Ideal for travelers who want their own space and don’t need frills. Condo hotels/serviced apartments have some hotel facilities like a reception desk but include kitchen facilities for a place to cook (e.g. a kitchenette). These suite-style accommodations usually have more than 10 units per property.
We recently stayed in one of the self-catering apartments for a hen party which hosted 19 of us. The location was perfect and there was plenty of free parking right beside the accommodation. Phillip was a great host and helped us with all queries. The apartment was very clean and well maintained. There was also plenty of showers/bathrooms which was great considering the group size. Phillip also gave recommendations of places to go. I would definitely stay here again
What breakfast? There was breakfast? We saw nothing explaining hotel services. The exhaust fan in the shower woke us up after 11pm. The staff came to inspect but couldn’t do much. It stopped on its own after 15 minutes.
The free parking was much appreciated.
Leitrim Lodge provides self-contained rooms which are semi-self-catering in that there's a fridge and a microwave, plus basic crockery and cutlery. All very handy for a few days stay. (A tea-towel would be handy)
The apartment was very clean and had the essentials for self catering. There were plenty of towels. It felt safe. There was parking available in the underground car park. There was a lift so good for those with reduced mobility.
