The room was very comfortable, with a mini kitchen and a really comfortable couch. After traveling for awhile, many places don’t have a comfortable seating area or couch so it was a luxury. The staff was helpful and friendly. They set up a hair appointment at a local salon for me, which I was very happy with.
You can also order breakfast delivered to the room if you want…which I didn’t partake because it was a bit expensive but a nice perk if needed.
The view from the rooftop was amazing! I went up every day to enjoy. The little reception area was comfortable and cute. They also had multiple recommendations for places to eat, most I frequently went to. I will say for anyone staying..the prices for food are much cheaper in the area around the hotel than in the major tourist hubs and the food is good.
The location is perfect because you are right next to Plaka and the acropolis. I walked all over the major city sites from the hotel. They have staff in the front most of the day, which is nice. Great boutique hotel.
I will definitely book this hotel again if I come back Athens.
Ideal for travelers who want their own space and don’t need frills. Condo hotels/serviced apartments have some hotel facilities like a reception desk but include kitchen facilities for a place to cook (e.g. a kitchenette). These suite-style accommodations usually have more than 10 units per property.
Great location ,quiet neighborhood ,my room was great , lots of parking space around the Aparthotel plus 10 minutes walk to the metro station should you need it , staff won't bother you so if you are an introvert you will have a great time , i am not one but i still enjoy my peace and quiet.
The check-in in and check-out process was very smooth, as a clear description was given after the booking.
The property itself was warm and very clean, and with the self-catering option.. I was able to cook the food I like. (If there was a little microwave, that could have been much helpful)
Our experience at Phidias Piraeus was exactly what I was looking for. I wanted a hotel close to the Marina Zeas. The staff was very friendly. They helped when we asked for directions. There is a large selection of restaurants nearby, and we were able to board an Athens tour bus a couple blocks from the hotel.
We needed to have Covid testing completed the day before boarding a ship to Greek Islands, and they had a lab in same block as the hotel. They also provide a hotel service that has a van to take us to the ship when we departed.
The property had everything we needed for self catering and a very pleasant stay! From a Greek coffee pot, to a Frappe mixer, to ice cubes, to a washing machine and ironing equipment, we felt like home. There is a nice super market below the property and the views are wonderful - We’d happily stay there again.
