The uncle who look after this property is very helpful and friendly. As we prefer to do self-catering most of the time we are very grateful that he shared some of the vegetables that he planted in his little garden. Also from the backyard, you can have a superb view of the mountain. It's very quiet and peaceful here.
Our host was waiting for us and had warmed the room up for our arrival. Sofia rooms was very easy to find and there was plenty of parking in front of the building. The room was large and comfortable and the hosts had given us plates and cutlery etc and a fridge even though it wasn´t a self catering room. A five minute walk to the town centre with plenty of food options, and the amazing scenery of Meteora was right behind us.
The location was perfect for hiking around Meteora during the day then relaxing in the evening. There were nice restaurants and bars in the local area and the self catering kitchen was great.
