Great location at the bottom of the foot trail to the Holy Trinity Monastery as well as a 10 minute walk down the hill to old town Kalabaka. Property was clean, quiet and host was very congenial and helpful.

We stayed in Meteora the second week of October. Location was fantastic great restaurants within 5 min walk, a supermarket on one side of apartment block and cafe(fantastic coffee) where we had breakfast on the other.
Apartment was easy to access with clear instructions and a video on youtube on where to park. Parking was less than 100 metres away so easy to walk with suitcases. The apartment had a small balcony with a partial view of the mountains which was a nice place to sit and have a drink
Information centre was less than 200 metres away so we were able to get information and map on how to access monasteries opening hours and days they were closed
We hiked from our apartment to the Holy Trinity monastery, a fabulous walk through a beautiful forest filled with wild cyclamen and herbs, well worth the effort. For the other monasteries we drove to the base of Varlaam as it is too far to walk from apartment, parked and walked up to the monasteries, again a lovely walk but if driving there was plenty of parking at the top when we visited.
There is a weekly market on a Friday morning at the bottom of the apartment block which was great to wander through.

Everything once we figured out it operated more like an air b&b than a hotel. Beautiful, very comfortable with a kitchen. Very well located , quiet and clean which are key criteria for my husband and I. Very highly recommended
