The feeling of “old” with the comfort of “new”, as this newer building was built to local codes requiring a certain look. Beautiful stone building and room interiors, very tasteful grounds, and Barbara was super nice.
And a fantastic restaurant 3 minutes away, by foot.
If you like to hike, and don’t mind elevation, hike from hotel down 900 ft to the “Mama Mia” beach. (Steep, but not difficult if in hiking shape).

These suite-style accommodations usually have more than 10 units per property.
Afissos is lovely. However, Booking.com misleadingly classify this property as a hotel. It is in fact a self catering studio. So there was no breakfast offered.
