Ideal for travelers who want their own space and don’t need frills. Condo hotels/serviced apartments have some hotel facilities like a reception desk but include kitchen facilities for a place to cook (e.g. a kitchenette). These suite-style accommodations usually have more than 10 units per property.
The level of service from the host was exceptional, as were the facilities ( including a generous supply of breakfast food ) in the self-catering cottage. Instructions from the host concerning access to the property were clear and useful. There was free on street parking outside the property. We were not expecting to be offered the use of a jacuzzi, which was very welcome, and the host went out of his way to ensure the jacuzzi was as hot and pleasant as possible.
The room was spacious and clean and really cosy. It had great facilities including an en-suite bathroom, desk and chair and double bed. The kitchen was large with self-catering facilities and a dining table. The staff at reception were very welcoming also.
I stayed here with my family at Phonenix House for 3 weeks.This is truly home away from home, the Location is central and easy to get to most amenities.The host was responsive and ensured our needs were met. I like that the house is self check in,self catering,clean and tidy.I would recommend Phonenix House and yes,I would book again in future.
The room has a fridge and there are kitchen facilities so it is easy to be self catering, which is convenient.
I had a nice meal at a Sri Lankan restaurant nearby, and there were plety of convenience stores around.
The station and bus station are about 1km away.
