Condo hotels/serviced apartments have some hotel facilities like a reception desk but include kitchen facilities for a place to cook (e.g. a kitchenette). These suite-style accommodations usually have more than 10 units per property.
Self catering cooking facilities were excelant didnt use the oven or microwave as I was on holiday gas hob easy to use and clean pleanty of pots pans and utensils if you want to cook. The house was well equiped shower fantastic water pressue great. I contacted the host leaving a message on his answer service he was quict to reply. Bus service to St andrews and Edinburgh practically on the door step as were resturants and pubs if you wanted to access them.
It was self catering and everything was fine until an external electrical fault plunged us into darkness. Our host coped magnificently but it wasn’t an easy situation.
The apartment was bright, comfortable and clean. Everything you need for a self-catering holiday was available - very well equipped kitchen. The lounge area had lots of comfortable seating, good sized dining table and chairs and smart tv. Having a private parking space was a bonus. All in all, this was a good base to explore the East Neuk of Fife.
