Ideal for travellers who want their own space and don’t need frills. Aparthotels/serviced apartments have some hotel facilities like a reception desk but are self-catered with a place to cook (e.g. a kitchenette). This suite-style accommodation usually has more than 10 units per property.
A warm welcoming as we arrived. Our self catering accommodation was beautiful and met our needs and beyond. Extremely comfortable and had all we needed for our stay. The centre of Camelford was a five minute walk away and the location excellent for where we were going each day. If back in the area again, no hesitation to stay again.
Lovely quaint country feel to the place. Attention to details like a little jug oh washing up liquid and little milks and sugars. Very clean with everything that you could need for self catering. Lively gardens
Lovely gem of a place, quaint rooms and lots of thoughtful little touches. Better self catering facilities than the write up suggested which was great when we’d overdone the sightseeing & couldn’t face going out again to eat. Dog friendly, too and right opposite a beautiful park with a riverside walk.
I was offered a different apartment on arrival at Sarah's cottage as it was not ready. This was a better choice although came with some difficulties in getting a suitable 4G mobile signal - there is one spot in the cottage where the signal was strong enough to be usable. Otherwise, the accommodation is great for self-catering with a good selection of tools and implements in the kitchen.
Cottage was self catering - no breakfast! Excellent location within easy short drives to the best North Cornish beaches and towns. Log burner made for cosy evenings.
Nice village location. Lovely park and soft play area and a great fish and chips shop nearby. Nice self catering accommodation in overall and a beautiful garden too.
