Excellent short break at this property, and would definitely return to stay longer. Parking space. Clean fresh and well-equipped chalet. Superb self-catering facility, peaceful quiet setting, very relaxing, very close to scenic pebble beach - a few minutes walk, and a short drive to West Bay beaches - ample parking.
Our party of three adults stayed for three nights at Gardeners Cottage, an extremely comfortable, two-bedroom (1 x DB & 2 x SB) property. The cottage was well equipped with all the self-catering essentials. Located a short distance from the A35 off a quiet country lane, it proved the perfect location for our exploration of the Jurassic Coast between Lyme Regis and Weymouth. The farm offers some pleasant walks within the property grounds and we noted a range of indoor and outdoor facilities to entertain those with children too.
Very friendly hosts, Lynda and David greeted us and Lynda showed us to our apartment and explained how everything worked. Fantastic views from the large bay window in the Denim suite. Although self catering a generous variety starter pack for breakfast was supplied, as well as tea, coffee, milk etc. Very comfortable and relaxing.
Close to shops, cafes, bus station it was an ideal location didn’t need to use car once parked up as bus station around the corner was able to travel everywhere for just £4 return each trip the cottage was excellent for our needs for self catering and conveniently situated when we ate out just a ten minute walk to cages, pubs etc, takeaway places closer. Excellent
