Find the serviced apartments that appeal to you the most
Looking for a serviced apartment?
Ideal for travellers who want their own space and don’t need frills. Aparthotels/serviced apartments have some hotel facilities like a reception desk but are self-catered with a place to cook (e.g. a kitchenette). This suite-style accommodation usually has more than 10 units per property.
Co.munications was fine but the serviced apartments were disappointing. This was a room above a pub, with a shared kitchen. With the window shut you couldn't hear the pub, but it was very warm. You could hear the people in the kitchen. The room was a bit shabby in parts and the shower either didn't work very well or it needed instructions. I was very tired so was looking forward to my stay, which maybe set expectations too high. For a one or two night functional stop, it'd be fine
Spacious property that is ideal as a holiday rental. Second floor apartment. Neighbours were quiet. Well-equipped and comfortable beds. Good shower. All the things we like! It's very bright outside at night but the blinds did a really good job of keeping the rooms dark. Very well-considered living space. We stay in self-catering flats a lot and Anchors Away really is up there in our top 10 of best accommodation we've stayed in. Thank you for exceeding our expectations.
We were self catering, the view was amazing, the flat was in a fantastic location local to everything including the sea if the sun had been shining, very comfortable flat and spotless and very spacious I would certainly book again and recommend to my friends and family if they were going to Ayr for a holiday.
Self catering. Location very central to shops, ayr town and transport.
Apartment exceptionally clean and spacious with sky TV and WiFi.
Heating very easy to use and kitchen had everything we needed except sufficient cutlery and drying clothes.
My party of four were very comfortable and had a pleasant stay with a good sleep.
Great value for money.
The apartment was modern clean the kitchen had all you would need for self catering accommodation could use a lick of paint and maybe do with adding a welcome pack ie milk bread they did provide a few tea bags and little sachets of coffee and sugar oh and mini washing up liquid but no milk for late arrival not ideal. The bedroom lovely huge bed very comfortable
Location was so central as we were at a concert at the gaiety Theatre , left early in the morning so did not miss breakfast that much , the accommodation was immaculate and so very comfortable , warm and so relaxing . Self catering at Barns is a credit to the owners , thank you for a perfect stay .
