We have been staying at Odalys since 2018, (although during the pandemic we had not been back between 2020-22) so we were looking forward to returning! It never disappoints. The location is beautiful with beaches on your doorstep, shops/markets and restaurants only a few metres walk away. The accommodation itself is perfect, basic, but has all your needs, the swimming pool is a firm favourite with my boys and we've always had places to sit around the pool, it's never been overly busy when we want to relax by the pool.
A 15-minute drive from Fort Boyard, Azureva Fouras offers self-catering accommodation, an outdoor swimming pool, a terrace and Wi-Fi is free of charge in public areas.

Ideal for travellers who want their own space and don’t need frills. Aparthotels/serviced apartments have some hotel facilities like a reception desk but are self-catered with a place to cook (e.g. a kitchenette). This suite-style accommodation usually has more than 10 units per property.
Apartment was self catering and was one of five sharing a quiet courtyard situated just off the main port of La Cotiniere on Ile D'Oleron. There were beaches nearby for swimming at high tide and good seafood restaurants. The hosts, Vanessa and Baptiste were excellent and very attentive. The apartment was modern and well provided with everything we needed. Car parking was available next to the apartment and the area was closed off by a gate at night for better security.
