Very beautiful scenery around the town of Bonifacio. The apartment was clean and had all the equipment we needed. Mrs. Fanny was very kind and full of energy.

The natural light in the flat was good but we were on the ground floor and the balcony was facing North. Probably perfect in the summer but not in October. Somehow the balcony was very draughty and cold. Whenever we left the residence, we were surprised how warm it was outside and that there was no wind! We could see bats being very active at dusk in the trees surrounding the flat and admire birds of prey over the surrounding mountains. The room was very comfortable and had everything to cook with. The hotel had a lovely roof top to admire Porto Vecchio Bay before sunset. The hotel was a few steps from the tourist office and the free electric navette took us to the harbour and to the shops. The staff was very friendly and allowed us to access our flat at 3 pm instead of 4 pm because it was ready.
Just 200 metres from the coast in Porto-Vecchio is Résidence Cala Sultana. It is set in 5-hectares of private grounds and offers a path leading directly to the beach and a heated outdoor pool.

I liked nature, the sea, the beach and the view, but there are other beautiful places for a seaside vacation in Europe which would be three times cheaper than Corsica.
The kitchen was very well equipped and had all the necessary utensils and forms for cooking and baking.
Ideal for travellers who want their own space and don’t need frills. Aparthotels/serviced apartments have some hotel facilities like a reception desk but are self-catered with a place to cook (e.g. a kitchenette). This suite-style accommodation usually has more than 10 units per property.
This is a lovely family run hotel about 10mins from Bonafacio. It’s really well set up, with a great pool and small restaurant. Breakfast was great - continental with homemade cakes and jams.
There’s a beach within a 8minute walk that has two really good restaurant options.
Rooms have self catering options if you want to use and a bbq area.
