This was my second stay at Dar Dahab. I had the contact information for Ammar the Manager from my prior visit. I texted him to set up our airport pickup. From the moment we arrived, I immediately felt at home. The space itself is very calming, eco friendly with an amazing yard in the middle and access to beach. It is owned by the most wonderful host, who is welcoming, spiritual, gentle and cared for us like we were staying at her own house. The staff got us all our needs from beach towels to money exchange or planning day trips and getting us food from our favorite places. It was very difficult for me to leave, and I already booked my next trip. I travel all around the world and stay at 5 star hotels and resorts internationally but Dar Dahab feels like a home, it does not give you that feeling of angst that you want to be home after a long vacation, it rather makes you want to stay longer!!!

I was planning a trip to Dahab to go scuba diving for a few days with DahabDivers. I was looking for accommodation near the dive center and something that would be comfortable for me.
My search criteria were: a reasonable price, location near the dive center, a normal bathroom, hot water in the shower, a comfortable room, privacy. I chose an apartment and I was not mistaken at all.
The location is great, two minutes from the dive center and from the sea. Opposite is a wonderful bakery with very tasty breakfasts. The bakery opens at 7 am. At 06:10 I met the sunrise, at 07:00 I had breakfast. And then I walked to the dive center without rushing. Not life, but a holiday! :))

The bathroom is comfortable. The room too. It feels different than living in a hotel. More homely. The mattress initially seemed very hard, but nevertheless, I slept well.
there is a kettle and a working, clean (this is important) fridge in the room.
I usually don't watch TV on vacation, but here I treated myself to Netflix movies. the air conditioner worked great, nothing was broken in the room. I would like to separately note the cool bedside lamp, bed lighting and bathroom mirror lighting.
there were three unpleasant moments.
1. early rise at 5 am, because the mosque is very audible. but after a couple of days you get used to it.
2. noise from the street with the window open.
3. and what was even more unpleasant was that the neighbors banged their doors until the walls shook at 2 am. well, what kind of people lived nearby, is unclear. as an idea - to put a closer on the door leading to the veranda, and somehow soften the burying of the doors into the rooms.
I think the price and quality correspond. I recommend this place

In the heart of Assala, the view to the sea and the Sinai mountains you get from the property is breathtaking. At Lucky Palace you get absolute peace, while still being just a few minutes away from Assala square where you have many restaurants and shops. It is right at the beach, but also offers a pool to relax in non-salty waters. Mohamed is always around making sure you got everything you need at the glimps of a message and ensures you will feel home from minute one. Can only recommend the place.

Very friendly onsite staff, right by Dahab’s top Dive Center, first apartment wasn’t in good shape so they readily moved me to another (much bigger) room. Good hot water and great value

A lot of care is given to the details in order to give a home-like experience. And they had a lot of special treats to our little boy.

If you want to explore Dahab, diving, wind-surfing, safari, just ask the staff from the hotel for help, they can always find you a good deal.
Don’t forget to try their restaurant at Villa 22 (ca. 300m down the road), the food was really great. And Adam plays great Saxophone from 20 o’clock.
