I stayed in 2 different apartments in the last 10 days, whilst visiting Bad Ems.
The hosts were pleasant and helpful and kindly arranged for me to check out late and store luggage.
The property is ideally located for the Emser Therme, which is 2 minutes walk away and is situated on a quiet road. The surrounding area is peaceful, with local shops, supermarket and restaurants on the doorstep.
Apartment 5 in the main house was light and spacious with high ceilings and French windows, leading out onto a small balcony with 2 chairs and a table.
The Rose apartment (annexe) was smaller but cosy. In both apartments everything was comfortable and clean.
Check-in and out was contactless and easy, with good instructions.

Condo hotels/serviced apartments have some hotel facilities like a reception desk but include kitchen facilities for a place to cook (e.g. a kitchenette). These suite-style accommodations usually have more than 10 units per property.
A short 5-10 minute walk to the station, another 5-10 minutes to the old town and German corner.
Very clean, looks new or recently refurbished. Good facilities for self catering with good oven, full size fridge, toaster and kettle, etc.

Great experience: The owner is successfully eager to meet any wish of his guests and to create a cosy, home-like atmosphere, with love to detail like a Xmas tree in the corridor. A lot of hangers, hooks, spacious drawers, wardrobes and shelves as well as an extremely clean, tidy and spacious kitchen and bathroom turn it to a perfect place also for long term stays. The owner puts a lot of emphazis on cleanliness in all areas. I'll come back once I'll be again in the region.
The hostess was there to greet us when we arrived. Plenty of room with a separate bedroom, full kitchen, living room and dining space. Loved the view from the balcony, it's a great self-catering apartment.
Nice big room, comfortable beds, good kitchen facilities. I must stress this was excellent value for money in Koblenz and we were not dissatisfied! However it is worth noting that it is on the other side of the river to the main city. There are lots of buses, a train option and a lovely little ferry, but we had to work all that out ourselves.
Lidl nearby is good for self catering in the clean and good sized kitchen, but there isn't much in the way of restaurants and bars nearby.
Warm welcome from hosts with great information about visiting the area. Apartment was spotlessly clean with everything needed for self catering provided. Bed was comfortable with top quality bedding. Wonderful new shower room. Quiet area with terrace overlooking the beautiful garden. Highly recommended. We have stopped in many apartments through Booking over the years and this property is one of the best. Our host also kindly gave us a lift to the station as our train left early in the morning.
