Ideal for travellers who want their own space and don’t need frills. Aparthotels/serviced apartments have some hotel facilities like a reception desk but are self-catered with a place to cook (e.g. a kitchenette). This suite-style accommodation usually has more than 10 units per property.
I got upgraded, free of charge, to a private room (after having booked a bed in a mixed dorm). The room was lovely, hotel-like, both check-in and checkout were smooth, and the cleaning lady as well as the receptionist, Alex, were friendly.
Excellent location right in the center of town; self catering was no problem, especially since there are two excellent cafes/bakeries very close by so breakfast there was easy and the coffee very good.
The location for a family of 4 adults was perfect. If the bedrooms were separated from the dining area, television area, and KITCHEN as suggested by the photo of apartment 3 in the way the client has depicted it on Booking.com, I would have been writing a completely positive review of a self-catering Apartment.
Nicely furnished and had everything we needed. Very central and close to the public car park. an added bonus was breakfast even though we were in a self-catering apartment.
excellent location, small but comfortable room in a medieval house which was carefully and thoughtfully modernised inside. an open terrace on the river. it was a pleasure to be there. good facilities for self-catering and good breakfast. the only minus - very poor internet. i was not able to join wi-fi.
The place is easily accessible, exceptionally clean and home-like. We felt exceptionally comfortable. The huge bathtub was a pleasant surprise. Breakfast is a must-have, it's huge, tasty and a steal. Would highly recommend for couples or a small family.
