Super friendly host, comfortable bed, nice hot water. Great location, especially if you are taking the bus. Salento is small, you can walk everywhere. Really yummy Mexican restaurant next door, and a small tienda for some basic needs. Anywhere in Salento will be "loud" to stay at, I always bring earplugs with me wherever I travel and I play white noise, so I wasn't phased by it. A little kitchen and fridge gave me everything I needed.

It was exceptionally clean, the owners were always attentive and willing to work with us. We take an excellent experience not just with the apartment, but the people.

Great value hostel for the private rooms and dorm rooms, with fun decor. Just around the corner from the main plaza. Good self-catering facilities. Mauricio the owner was lovely, always around and happy to help with anything. It is a small and quiet hostel so perfect if you want a bit of peace and space to recharge. Proper security lockers and CCTV. Always clean. No laundry service but the hotel across the street does it same day collection for only $5k per KG. Can watch hummingbirds from the dining table.
HOT WATER for the shower! I'd been all over Colombia by this time and this is the first hotel/aparthotel that had hot water. One block off the main street. The unit itself is relatively new.
Mario is a great host; very attentive. Lots of attention to detail. He even helped me get a ride back to Pereira when my taxi was a no-show.
Wifi was great in the living room but not very good in the back bedroom.
