Beds were comfortable and apartment was spacious and reasonably priced.
Ideal for travellers who want their own space and don’t need frills. Aparthotels/serviced apartments have some hotel facilities like a reception desk but are self-catered with a place to cook (e.g. a kitchenette). This suite-style accommodation usually has more than 10 units per property.
I must say that Wollongong Serviced Apartments are great. They are located only two blocks from the main shopping street and just a 10 minute walk from the beach. The apartment is big enough for two and you can park your car in the basement.
Would definitely recommend this venue but just caution people that might have trouble using stairs (2 flights from garage to our upstairs apartment). Mario is an exceptional host and the venue was everything we needed, central, clean, comfortable and not expensive. Very much appreciated the facilities that made self catering very easy.
