I love the history trail upon my arrival. It happens n every Monday and Thursday. It enriched my stay at the property after learning its history from the property manager. The accommodation is a destination itself. My children don’t even want to step out of the property. It is a nice place to spend over the weekend or relax.
The layout of the room is lovely. I am also thankful to the staff for their quick response whenever I need help. Access to the facilities (swimming pool, canoes, bikes) is secured but easy. I enjoy sitting by the pond and paddling the boats with my kids. Quality selection of hot drinks and toiletries available in the room.
Ideal for travellers who want their own space and don’t need frills. Aparthotels/serviced apartments have some hotel facilities like a reception desk but are self-catered with a place to cook (e.g. a kitchenette). This suite-style accommodation usually has more than 10 units per property.
The building was beautiful and the apartment was really big. The biggest serviced apartment I have stayed in so it was great for a family to have big bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen and living area. It was also lovely and clean and comfortable.
The lodge itself exceeded my expectations, it was a beautiful chalet with a veranda, compact yet spacious and with everything you would need for a self catering holiday, very clean and modern with air conditioning making it a relief to enter in extreme hot weather. I really enjoyed my short stay. It felt safe for a single traveller and gated access with a code meant I could come and go out of hours. The lodge had dedicated parking right outside. Would definitely stay again if I could have the same lodge, I loved it!
Breakfast not provided but self catering an option with a fridge and microwave. Close to the main shopping area for meals as well as being across the road of The General Store on Lydiard. A great cafe.
Great Location. Spacious. Rang ahead to pre-arrange earlier check in and this was accommodated by owner. Thank you. Well appointed for family groups doing some self-catering. Traditional style and decor, but clean and spacious. Perfect for our trip.
This is a lovely place to stay and explore the area. The apartments are well appointed and having a full kitchen and a full size fridge is such a plus given that there are many supermarkets nearby so that self catering is easy. The apartments are very clean and spacious and while we did not get the chance, the pool looked very inviting.
Our contact with Tracy was always very positive and we thank her for chats and local attraction advice.
