Looking for a serviced apartment?
Ideal for travellers who want their own space and don’t need frills. Aparthotels/serviced apartments have some hotel facilities like a reception desk but are self-catered with a place to cook (e.g. a kitchenette). This suite-style accommodation usually has more than 10 units per property.
Location was good. Air conditioning was great in the hot weather. Unit was clean and facilities all worked. Kitchen was well equipped for self catering.
Self catering. Had all the facilities we required for an overnight stay. Within reasonable walking distance to Lavington shopping centre. Friendly staff.
The hotel is within easy walking distance of the main eating/shopping area. We had a nice evening meal locally and enjoyed the Art Deco architecture. This was our final stay on a ten-day road trip and we treated ourselves to a nice breakfast in town - although our room was well-equipped for a self-catering breakfast. Our car parking space was outside our room, but we didn't hear any noise during the night. The room was comfortable, as were the beds.
Great location within easy walking distance to shops restaurants etc.and the motel room and bathroom had been upgraded and modernised to a good standard. There were basic amenities for self-catering and a coffee maker which was a bonus. Good value for money.
Serviced Apartment -more like Motel Room. Room wasn’t serviced at all. $250 per night for glorified motel room, ordinary bed that needs replacing and cleaners never came in to check whether anything needed replacing (towels) or replenishing (tea, sugar, soap etc)
Modern apartment hotel in old wool store building in central Albury. Nice lobby with original artworks, free undercover parking. Studio apartment was a good size with kitchenette and bathroom. Good bed and linen. Location excellent for shopping and dining.
