We were looking for a quiet location with nearby restaurants and bars. A base for trips in the area. Brilliant location for this. But we visited mid September and the town is closing down. Amazing pool, but they started cleaning as we arrived and was not ready 4 days later when we left, so we couldn't use.
Hosts amazing. Keen to help out and very friendly. A great breakfast. Lovely restaurant, when it's open. A bar on site is a great plus, again when it's open.
Loads of parking on site. A few minutes walk to the beach with lots of space. Loungers to rent but enough space so you don't need to.
Rooms were really comfortable. Very basic but comfortable beds and loads of towels and toiletries all provided. No issues with water, although it's solar heating so you need to be patient.
I would certainly consider returning but during the summer season.

Very home-like feeling. Like you were going to vacation with a little cousin who is constantly running around the house. Love the energy. Extremely nice hosts; both husband, who helped us with the parking, and wife, who was very fast with everyday chores and gave us many recommendations. We really felt at like home there. Location is near few important attractions in Gjirokaster.
